Rosie taps Christian to help drive growth and expand its best-in-class e-commerce services and technology for local and independent grocers
Ithaca, NY (February 6, 2022) – Rosie, an Instacart company, today announced that Rob Christian has joined as Director of Sales, responsible for the expansion of Instacart’s independent grocery business. Christian will focus on helping independent grocers and wholesalers accelerate their pace of e-commerce innovation by leveraging the software, tools, and services available through Rosie and the Instacart Platform. Christian will lead the day-to-day operations of the business development team and report to Rosie’s Head of Revenue, Merrick Rosner.

Christian joins Instacart from ShopHero where he served as both the Chief Executive Officer and most recently, Chief Strategy Officer following their acquisition by DOT Foods in 2021. Throughout his career, he has focused on implementing innovative solutions to enhance the overall shopping experience within the local and independent space, bringing deep insight and expertise to the company. Christian is a Lehigh University alumni, former Air Force officer, and currently an active pilot who holds a master’s degree from Central Michigan University.
