What is Rosie?
Rosie lets you shop online or from your mobile device from local grocery stores for delivery or in-store pickup. Rosie is the fastest, most convenient way to shop for groceries in your community! All of your favorite items are available for purchase through Rosie, from fresh produce to frozen items and cleaning supplies, with 100% guaranteed satisfaction.
All retailers available through Rosie have specially trained Local Grocery Professionals who will hand-select only the freshest, highest quality products for Rosie customers. Rosie saves you time, energy, and stress by making grocery shopping from local retailers fast, easy, and convenient.
How do I get started with using Rosie?
Visit our home page or click the red "Sign up" button in the upper right to create a free account, then choose from the available local stores.
You can then search or browse the store’s products to fill up your cart, or enjoy custom recommendations on new products to try. If you’re already a Rosie customer, you can quickly view past purchases for easy re-ordering. When you’re ready to check out, pay for your items with a credit or debit card, and your order will be submitted to the store. All products are guaranteed fresh, and the store’s Local Grocery Professional will hand-select each of your items.
Can I trust that the food will be high quality?
Customers receive only the highest quality products from the grocers available on Rosie. You have many options for where to grocery shop, and ultimately trust is paramount to making this decision.
Instead of having you go to larger national chains, these local retailers want to be your grocer of choice, and they will go out of their way to provide you with the freshest, highest quality products. By shopping with Rosie, your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed.
How do I receive my items?
During the checkout process, you will have the option to select the day and time that you’d like to receive your groceries from a list of available times. Same-day delivery is available at most stores, and same-day in-store pickup is available at all stores. There is typically a four hour window between placing an order and when it can be received.
After placing your order, you’ll receive an emailed receipt with a unique confirmation code. If you chose home delivery, simply give this code to the delivery driver when they arrive. If you chose in-store pickup, there is a Priority Checkout Counter in the store for Rosie customers where you can provide your confirmation code and receive your groceries.
How is my food selected?
Your food is hand-selected by the store’s Local Grocery Professional. This is a real live person who has been in the industry for many years and is an expert at picking fresh products. You can also add a note to any item in your cart: if you’d like your bananas a little green, or if you want your deli meat sliced extra thin, Rosie can make that happen.
What if my product is not in stock?
Rosie strives to only display products that are in stock. However, it may occur that a product is out of stock at the time your order is picked by the store’s Local Grocery Professional. You may specify in advance if you’d like a substitute item if this occurs. This can be done as a default setting for all items you purchase, or you can set this preference for individual items.
To alter your default substitution settings, visit the My Preferences page. For individual products, you can click on the image of any product you want to purchase, and a window will appear. At the bottom of this window is the substitution indicator that displays two options:
Best Substitute: This tells the Local Grocery Professional to find the closest similar item to the one you’ve ordered.
No Substitute: This lets the Local Grocery Professional know that if the item is out of stock it is not to be replaced, and instead it will be cancelled from your order.
Of course, you will not be billed for items removed from your order for being out of stock.
