Progressive Grocer has announced their 2019 GenNext Award Winners. Out of 175 nominees, Rosie CEO, Nick Nickitas was selected as one of the 25 honorees!

Each year, the GenNext Awards recognize the next generation of industry leaders, under the age of 40, who have demonstrated:

+A commitment to a career in either the retail grocery or CPG industries

+Innovation through the work they are doing

+Leadership, including the capacity to inspire and lead others, and a commitment to learn from others

+A commitment to getting involved in the industry – such as through associations – and helping through charities or in the community

Recipients are recognized and honored online and in Progressive Grocer’s November 2019 issue, and at PG’s GenNext Symposium, to be held Dec. 5-6, 2019, in Atlanta at Coca-Cola’s Headquarters.

“I am honored to accept this award on behalf of the entire team at Rosie. This recognition is only possible due to the enthusiasm and commitment of my teammates, who deliver delight to our shopper, retailer, and wholesaler customers each and every day. I also want to thank and appreciate our retailer and wholesaler partners, who inspire Rosie’s focus, drive, and ingenuity. Together, we are innovating and transforming our industry by creating a seamless, omnichannel experience for shoppers while enhancing the success and profitability of leading local grocers.”
